If you charter a yacht in Trogir, you need to follow the same regulations as anywhere else in Croatia. If you rent a bareboat in Trogir, you will be asked to demonstrate a valid boating license, a VHF certificate and a nautical CV. These certificates are mandatory to have if you rent a boat and you can be asked to show it at the port or any other places.

For motorboats, you have to follow the same regulation, so to present a valid license. Don’t worry if you don't have these documents, because for most of the most you have the option to rent with a skipper. Overview of Trogir

Trogir is a beautiful, unique and historical Croatian city located on the Adriatic coast. Situated near Split, Trogir is a destination in Croatia that must be included in any itinerary. Its uniqueness comes from the fact that the city is divided by two with the old town lying on an island that is connected by a bridge to the mainland. Even if you're renting a boat in Split and sailing to Trogir, it is mandatory to stop here. If you're planning to charter for a longer period of time, then you'll also have the opportunity to sail to Hvar.  Not far from Hvar, you'll be able to visit the thriving city of Makarska. Over the past few years, boat rentals in Makarska have been on the rise due to the beautiful scenery.

Furthermore, the old town is famous for the combination of Romanesque, baroque and Renaissance buildings. The form of these different styles makes the city exceptionally stunning and unique, that it is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Even though it is a smaller town, it is full of charm and scenic views.

We highly recommend spending a lovely day walking around the town to see all the amazing sites that the city has to offer. We suggest to see the St. Lawrence Cathedral in Romanesque-Gothic style that serves as one of the most impressive monuments and the old Fortress Kamerlengo.
