An owner can ask you for the deposit directly, but we advise you to follow these rules carefully:
1. Write the method of payment and the amount of the deposit on the contract
2. Never pay a deposit directly, especially by bank transfer, without having seen the boat and the owner (or operator if applicable)
3. Only pay the deposit on the day of the rental
