Seagull or Sea memo is an old boat. You pay a price that reflects this. She sails well and had a new genoa.

The boat itself was fantastic, everything worked as it should do and dealing with MG yachts was fantastic however dealing with the owner of the boat was beyond frustrating. during the check in process he was rude and very arrogant, obviously did not want us to charter the boat and when we returned the boat he went around with a fine tooth comb trying to charge us for damages we did not cause.
Spectacular! In the twenty odd charters I have done this is the best maintained boat I have chartered. You can tell the owner loves (and uses) this boat.
Nic ((Contact information hidden) ) is the agent that arranged the charter.I am deeply disappointed as he lied. I asked him (I have all the mail as proof) that in order to proceed with the booking it is a necessity for me that the boat has indeed teak deck as shown in the photos and he replied positively.After the payment however when I arrived at the port and did the check in the sailing boat had no teak deck
The cruise itself was fantastic. The places are magnificent. The only negatives were:
-the Skipper spoke very little English and French. We had difficulty communicating. In addition I had to force him several times to take out the sails. He clearly preferred to sail under motor despite an F5-6 wind.
- The boat is excellent but poorly maintained.
La croisière en elle même était fantastique. Les lieux sont magnifiques. Les seuls points négatifs étaient:
-le Skipper ne parlait que très peu l'anglais et le français. Nous avons eu de la peine à communiquer. De plus j'ai du le forcer à plusieurs reprises à sortir les voiles. Il préférait nettement naviguer au moteur malgré un vent F5-6.
- Le bateau est excellent mais mal entretenu.
Very good, the skipper was very attentive to our requests, the almost new boat was very pleasant to live in and to sail. We just have to point out to the manufacturer of the Dufour 390 GL that the anchor hold is not deep enough this time. which creates knots with the chain on the descent as well as on its ascent.
Très bien , le skipper était très attentif à nos demandes ,le bateau presque neuf était très agréable à vivre et à faire naviguer.Il faut juste signaler au constructeur du Dufour 390 GL que la soute de l’ancre n’est pas assez profonde ce qui créé des noeuds avec la chaine à la descente ainsi qu’à sa remontée .
