This wooden classic was designed by the naval architect John Bain and built in 1956 by James A. Silver LTD shipyard in Rosneath, Scotland. She has the elegant design of the English gentleman’s yacht with narrow beam, rounded bilge, keel longitudinal, destroyer-type bow and wide stern with a heart shaped transom. Silver Romance is classified as a vintage yacht and classic motor boat, being part of the exclusive pleasure boats owned by British gentlemen in the 50s decade. After her last refit in 2005, Silver Romance turned into a great historical value adapted to current uses, much more comfortable than the original construction but preserving all her character and authenticity. In 2023 her current owner has been carried out a deep work of maintenance and tune-up, inspired by his own love of hardwoods -mahogany/teak always respecting her original and distinguished design, enhancing, if possible, Silver´s beauty and authenticity.
