We had a great day on Roger’s boat touring the coastline and the many coves and beaches around Cadaqués. Our captain, Carlos, was incredible. He knew the area very well and was accommodating. French and Spanish speaking. Boat was clean and perfect for a chill day on the water. Highly recommend.

Sailing between Tarragona and Menorca in September is undoubtedly a fascinating experience, but it is essential to keep a close eye on the weather forecast to avoid unpleasant surprises. Bad weather can be unpredictable at this time of year, and safety must always be the priority. As for the boat, it is good to know that it performed excellently even in 34 kt winds. However, it is true that with such high wind intensity, the 49 hp engine is somewhat limited. In these conditions, sailing skills become crucial in order not to overly lengthen the crossing. Despite the intensity and duration of the crossing, which can last around 28 hours, the trip is a unique and memorable experience that deserves to be experienced at least once. The combination of a robust boat and good sailing technique can turn a challenging crossing into an unforgettable adventure. Definitely a trip that leaves a mark!

You have to go snorkeling in the Medes Islands and follow the coast.

The northern area of the Costa Brava is definitely worth a visit. The only downside is the price of buoys in the coves or in Cadaques which is excessive.

We were in the area and it's a great option for renting for a day. If you want more days, it's better to head south and spend the night in another port.
