The boat Melouana is very old, dirty, and crammed with all the owner's belongings (tools, clothes, tanning supplies, dream catchers, drinks, far too many blankets/pillows, etc.). We were promised an evening handover, but the owner had to make urgent repairs, so the handover wasn't possible until around midnight, and the test drive, including refueling, had to be postponed until the following day.
The old engine has various peculiarities that weren't explained at all during the handover and weren't expected even as a holder of a German boat license. This resulted in the boat becoming unmaneuverable and causing an accident, for which we were charged a €500 deposit. Despite a written agreement, we are still stuck with this €500 deposit. Accordingly, this boat, and especially the owner, cannot be recommended under any circumstances. Should a refund be issued, this review will be adjusted.

Since the boat is over 40 years old, it's in a worn condition, but technically in excellent condition.
The handover and return went smoothly. We spent 12 wonderful days aboard the Melouana.
