This was the best experience I’ve ever had. My skipper Christos and our hostess Elina were top notch professionals in every way. Their attention to detail and the ability to cater this experience to our particular taste was uncanny. They were able to show us the amazing beauty of the Greek islands, all while providing a local culinary experience as well. Everyday we woke up in a new marina, and a new island to explore. The people of Greece are friendly and very welcoming. My only regret is my wife and I didn’t book two weeks. I guess that means we have to do it again next year. Looking forward to coming back and creating more memories.
Our cruise aboard Aktaia (Lagoon 42 catamaran) throughout the lower Cyclades was magical. Aktaia was clean and comfortable. Our skipper team, Stergio & Dimitri were professional, friendly and supportive. They thrilled us with some epic crossings and with many swim & chill moments in the most beautiful coves of the Greek islands. Enjoy!

Mykonos has always been a popular global destination and is one of the main islands in the Cyclades. With the amount of coastline available, it is best explored with a stable catamaran. When travelling with friends and family, you can rent a catamaran with multiple cabins to ensure comfort for everyone. Starting your week charter from Mykonos will allow you to see the beautiful architecture and culinary traditions that are signature to the area.
When it comes to chartering a catamaran in Mykonos, the prices vary depending on the time of the season. Since the Greek sailing season runs a little longer than most, you’ll have a wider time period to choose from. For the Cyclades, the high season will usually run from April to September with July and August being the peak months. If you choose to rent a boat during these two months, you should expect to pay premiums. For most catamarans in Mykonos, prices will start around 400 euros a day and will depend on the size and the number of cabins.
If you are coming from an EU member state, then your license is automatically valid and will be accepted anywhere in Greece. For sailors coming from outside the EU, we suggest getting an ICC. Keep in mind that licenses in languages other than English or Greek will have to be translated. When renting motorboats specifically, any boat having more than 30 horsepower will need a license to be operated. Anything under 30 horsepower does not require a license.
If you choose to rent a bareboat, you will have to present a nautical CV detailing your previous experience including when, where and what type of boat you controlled. If you feel that you do not have the qualifications or experience, you can rent a sailboat in Mykonos with a captain.
