If the booking is cancelled for any reason, the charterer to whom the booking confirmation was issued must notify us in writing.
Cancellation is effective from the date of receipt of the cancellation notice:
The following cancellation charges apply:
More than 30 days before the start of the charter: 50% of the charter fee.
8 to 30 days before charter start: 70% of the charter fee
Up to 7 days before charter start: 100% of the charter fee
In case of bad weather (e.g. rain, cloudy conditions, moderate wind), there is no entitlement to a free cancellation or refund.
Only in the event of an official storm warning, very strong winds, or if the captain decides that navigation is unsafe, the charter may be cancelled or rescheduled.
In such case, the client will be offered a replacement date as a first option.
If no replacement date is possible, the charter fee will be refunded minus an administrative fee of €100.
This fee covers fixed costs (e.g. marina fees, crew availability, and organizational expenses).
Excluding SamBoat service fees. The refund of these depend on the reason and are at the discretion of the platform.
