The boat was generally in poor condition: - Rain in a forward cabin through the porthole (loose seal) - The holding tanks were backing up into two toilets, which smelled bad, with leaking marine toilet pumps - An aft cabin smelled a bit of fuel oil - The anti-UV strip on the genoa was completely ruined - The electric winch was difficult to use (low gear broken and a handle that wouldn't lock onto it) - No fresh water gauge (critical for not knowing what was left) - Broken fuel gauge - Sunhood and bimini in very poor condition - No corkscrew or can opener (not a big deal, but when you discover it at sea...) ... It seems that all this is normal at the end of the season in October, that €2,500 a week wasn't expensive. Neither the owner nor Samboat have agreed to make any gesture. I strongly advise against renting this Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 52.2.

If it hasn't been repaired, it's because we didn't have time to do so, as the boat had to be ready for the next charter, which was hers. Remember, since it dates from 2002, the boat is in perfect condition. For the next charter, we recommend chartering a boat of the same model, a 2024, and you will then see the price difference.
