Davide was a very nice guy. He gave us a quick introduction to the boat and everything was quick and uncomplicated when we returned it. Photos were taken before and after, so no one could be blamed for any scratches. However, the boat's fuel gauge is broken. It was checked before and after to see if the needle was full. So David probably couldn't have known that. However, we did fill up with 120 liters. Considering the way we drove and the time it took, that's a very high figure. According to the internet, the average consumption is 15l/h. We had the boat for 7 hours and drove about 4 hours. Mostly in the eco range. That corresponds to an average of 30l/h. In my opinion, that's much too high. I suspect that the previous renters didn't fill up the boat and David couldn't see it because the fuel gauge is broken. So I would ask the charterer to fill it up again, or drive directly to the gas station yourself and compare before and after.
