How does the import of external calendars work?

It is now possible to import and synchronize an external Google (Google Calendar) and Apple (iCloud Calendar) calendar.

This feature can be found in the announcement editing on the Calendars tab: 

• Rules to import calendars (to SamBoat) :

  • One external calendar is required per boat 

  • The imported calendar is permanently synchronized (updating is done 1 time per hour) to update the unavailability, which is ONLY towards Google/ iCloud Calendar to SamBoat.

  • As soon as an event, even if it is only one hour, occurs on the external calendar day (Google calendar or iCloud), the whole day will be marked as unavailable on SamBoat.

  • The non-availabilities imported through the calendar cannot be modified: the “Delete” button will appear in "Grey” because they are imported automatically
