What is the instant booking feature?

Instant Booking allows a boat to be reserved without the owner having to manually accept the renter’s request The feature requires an up-to-date calendar and a listing that is as clear as possible. Renters will still be able to message owners for further information.
Owners can enable Instant Booking in their listing management / “Conditions” section.
Conditions (2 options):

• Have at least 3 “paid” or “completed” bookings on SamBoat and have a request acceptance rate of at least 50%
• Or have subscribed to ‘Nautic Manager’ - the fleet management tool

If an owner notices during check-in that the renter does not have the necessary skills to operate the boat, the owner will still be able to cancel the rental.

It is also possible to enable Instant Booking only for highly rated renters:
You can choose to enable Instant Booking only for users with an average rating of at least 4 out of 5 stars. This option allows owners to benefit from Instant Booking while reserving this access to their highest-rated renters if they wish.

If an owner enables Instant Booking only for renters with positive reviews: users logged in with an average rating of at least 4 out of 5 stars can book immediately. When a boat is available for Instant Booking, the icon appears in search results and the “Book Now” button is displayed on the boat’s page for eligible renters.
