Maritime experience

Nous sommes propriétaires d'un catamaran Mahe 36 depuis quelques années ce qui nous a permis de connaître une partie des petites antilles..Guadeloupe, Antigua, Barbude, la Martinique, Sainte Lucie, Saint Vincent, Les Grenadines. Nous faisons souvent des sorties autour de la Guadeloupe sur Marie Galante, Les Saintes, Petite Terre Sainte Anne, Saint François Notre navigation en bâteau moteur est plus épisodique aux USA dans le Lac Powel, dans les calanques de Marseille et aux Antilles auprès de loueurs pro.

    Samuel a fait son maximum pour nous rendre le séjour agréable sur son bateau. Il s’agit d’un bateau âgé qui nécessite un suivi constant. Les moteurs, les équipements électroniques et la voilure sont en bon état et nous ont donné satisfaction. Les batteries de service étaient fatiguées mais nous en avons tenu compte et Samuel les a changées à notre retour. Sur le plan du confort intérieur un retrofit important serait nécessaire pour se rapprocher du niveau de qualité des loueurs professionnels mais le prix de location en tient compte. Il faut en être conscient avant de louer ce bateau pour ne pas être déçu.

    A big thank you to Samuel for his availability, my rental went very well. The catamaran is in good working order under the engines or under sail (mainsail + genoa in very good condition). Many parts are recent, autopilot, GPS with mapping, port engine, solar panels, refrigerator, etc. The annex and engine in good condition. The catamaran is of its age and is well maintained.

    Great experience with Samuel who is very available and accommodating despite the normal small hazards of navigation! I recommend. The boat was perfect for our small family with 3 children, and we loved Les Saintes. Thanks again!

    A big thank you to Samuel for his flexibility and kindness! Beautiful little Cata from 2006 which is its age but which Samuel repairs and maintains gradually! Beautiful crossing to Les Saintes for us!

    Poor rental experience First time I raised the mainsail, the boom broke from the mast, resulting in a non-functioning mainsail during my charter. Samuel expected me to fix it. If you risk renting from him, bring tools to fix broken equipment/mechanical failures Anchor windless ran uncontrolled multiple times Fridge doesn't work well Broken shower drain I do not recommend chartering this vessel

    The gooseneck rod had to be put back. She broke away because you had bad weather with gusts of 35 knots. It does this quickly in 20 minutes. The tools are there! The fridge works because it can make ice cubes! I understand that you wanted better. Yet we offered you a free night on the boat at the marina before your morning flight. The diesel package you paid for did not fully cover the full tank we did. You are frustrated that you couldn't use the GV but I'm not sure the weather was favorable for using it.
