About me

Ciao sono Gianfranco la mia passione viene da mio padre che costruiva bellissime barche a vela in lamellare di legno. Ho cominciato da bambino sugli Optimist e da allora ho fatto tante regate prima su derive poi su barche d'altura. Sono stato armatore di tre barche dai 7 agli 11 metri prima di innamorarmi della navigazione d'altura e prendere la mia attuale barca. Ho partecipato ad un corso di Vittorio Malingri in oceano e mi piace studiare navigazione, sicurezza in mare, meteorologia e tutte quelle materie che fanno parte di questo bellissimo mondo. Nella vita faccio il pilota d'aeroplano e penso che la mia attività professionale sia molto vicina all'andar per mare. Mi piacerebbe partire per un viaggio oltre le colonne d'ercole e chissà... per il momento mi preparo !! A presto Hi, I'm Gianfranco my passion comes from my father who built beautiful sailing boats in laminated wood. I started as a child on the Optimists and since then I have done many regattas first on dinghies and then on offshore boats. I was the owner of three boats from 7 to 11 meters before falling in love with offshore sailing and taking my current boat. I attended a Vittorio Malingri course in the ocean and I like to study navigation, safety at sea, meteorology and all those subjects that are part of this beautiful world. In life I am an airplane pilot and I think that my professional activity is very close to going to sea. I'd like to go on a journey beyond the Pillars of Hercules and who knows ... I'm getting ready for the moment !! See you soon
