Departure at 10:00 from the mouth of the Magra River, from which you can immediately admire the splendid landscape of the Montemarcello Natural Park with its beautiful coves, until you reach the ancient seaside village of Tellaro, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy! After a succession of enchanting coves such as those of Fiascherino, Maralunga, l'Eco del Mare, we will arrive in the suggestive bay of Lerici with its castle and its beaches. The first stop will be in one of these bays for a refreshing swim and an aperitif with tasting of typical products. Our tour will continue towards the pearl of the Gulf: the fascinating PORTOVENERE! This ancient fishing village will leave you breathless: Admiring the "Palazzata a Mare" from the sea, that is, a group of buildings squeezed into each other which, tall, look out towards the horizon is undoubtedly a very suggestive sight; the different widths of the facades, as well as the uneven heights and the pastel colors that alternate between them, create an unusual spectacle for any other region of northern Italy. The Doria Castle, the ancient church of San Pietro and Byron's Cave, set in a fascinating inlet, will conclude this first part of your tour in which, stopped at anchor in the harbor of Portovenere, you will be offered a light lunch with drinks . After lunch we will set off to discover the 3 islands: Palamaria Island, the largest of the Ligurian islands characterized by high cliffs and numerous caves and the remains of the marble quarries where the precious Portoro marble was extracted. Behind the Palmaria island there are two other islands, smaller in size, called Isola del Tino and Isola del Tinetto. The island of Tino is to all intents and purposes a natural reserve, since a military area was established on its territory which meant that it could not be exploited from a building point of view, nor was access to people or the possibility for boats to dock. The Tinetto island is the smallest of the three, and the island furthest from the mainland; on its rock the ruins of a sixth-century oratory and those of a larger church, with two naves, whose construction lasted until the eleventh century are still visible. The latter, however, was destroyed in one of the Saracen incursions. Obviously there will be no shortage of stops for a swim in the most suggestive corners of these places. Il Castello Doria, l'antica chiesa di San Pietro e la Grotta di Byron, incastonata in una affascinate insenatura, concluderanno questa prima parte del vostro tour in cui, fermi all'ancora nella rada di Portovenere, vi verrà offerto un light lunch con bevande. Terminato il pranzo ripartiremo alla scoperta delle 3 Isole: L'Isola Palamaria, la piu grande delle isole Liguri caratterizzata da alte falesie e numerose grotte e dai resti delle cave di marmo in cui si estraeva il prezioso marmo Portoro. Dietro all'isola Palmaria si nascondono altre due isole, più piccole di dimensioni, chiamate Isola del Tino e Isola del Tinetto. L'isola del Tino è a tutti gli effetti una riserva naturale, poiché sul suo territorio è stata istituita un'area militare che ha fatto sì che non potesse essere sfruttata dal punto di vista edilizio, né fosse consentito l'accesso alle persone o la possibilità alle barche di attraccarsi. L'isola del Tinetto è invece l'isola più piccola delle tre, e l'isola più lontana dalla terra ferma; sulla sua roccia sono ancora visibili i ruderi di un oratorio del sesto secolo e quelli di una chiesa più grande, a due navate, la cui costruzione si protrasse fino all'undicesimo secolo. Quest'ultima venne però distrutta in una delle incursioni dei saraceni. Non mancheranno ovviamente le soste per un bagno negli angoli piu' suggestivi di questi luoghi. Qui faremo una sosta per un bagno nelle acque cristalline dell'area marina protetta del Parco. Partenza alla volta di una delle numerose insenature del versante ligure in cui faremo una sosta per il pranzo e per un bagno rinfrescante.
