About TYCHE
TYCHE is a 59-foot ocean going sloop designed by Ted Hood. Her classic lines and beautiful interior are kept in immaculate condition. The aft main cabin is full beam with 2 large closets and separate dry head. The forward guest cabin is a double bed. The yacht is perfectly suited for a family trip around New England. The captain is versed in local history & ecology and loves to provide educational commentary and storytelling which guests find engaging.
TYCHE is the Greek word for prosperity or fortune, and is named for the Greek Goddess who presides over the welfare of a city. The Goddess Tyche personified chance and affluence and is associated with both good and bad fortune, mirroring the uncertainty of life.
