Do you need a license to rent a boat in Brittany, France?

 

Keep in mind the French regulations If you are interested in hiring a boat in Brittany. A license is required to charter a motorboat in Brittany., including a nautical resume describing your previous sailing experience and the type of boat you have sailed. On the other hand, if you want to rent any other boat you will not be asked for a licence, but you will need a nautical resume. Nevertheless, it is advisable to have an ICC + nautical resume.
