Motor boats start around 200€ per day and it will depend on what your specific project is, how many passengers and how far you would like to go. 

Do you need a license to rent a boat in the Canary Islands?

Whether you need a license to rent a boat in the Canary Islands, will depend on what type of boat you are renting. There are two cases when a license will be required. Firstly, if you rent a motorboat with more than 15 horsepower and more than 4 meters in length. Secondly, if you rent a sailboat over 5 meters in size. 

If you do not have enough experience or want a stress free vacation, most boats come with the option to have a captain. An added perk of hiring a local captain is their knowledge of the must see places.
