Zone de navigation vraiment agréable, en majeur partie abrité grâce à l'ile d'Oléron. De nombreux points d'intérêts à découvrir (Fort Boyard, Ile d'Aix, Ile d'Oléron avec notamment son petit port de plaisance à Boyardville, Ile de Ré, ...). Très agréable aussi de naviguer près d'autres magnifiques voiliers assez nombreux dans la baie.
