The area were you can sail is small enough to fully explore in one day, and is very beautiful with multiple swimming/snorkeling spots.

This is the fourth time I have sailed out of Gouvia and it's always a pleasure to return to some great spots, including Aghios Stefanos, Kaloura and Monastery Bay at Mourtos.

I have sailed the Ionian for almost 40 years. It's much more crowded now and the amount of berthing space that catamarans take up is an issue. Little Vathi Marina will gurantee a berth if booked well in advance and allows day long sailing whereas if you want a stern-to berth on a wall or pontoon in Kioni, Fiskardo, Sivota, Kastos, Kalamos or basically anywhere in the area you really need to be in before lunch.

We last used Sunsail in 2005 and they were average but wow have they stepped it up. First class service from start to finish, excellent well trained and dedicated staff and the boat was one of the best presented and highest spec yachts I've chartered in over 25 years. We will be back!

Fantastic day from start to finish. I had no experience with boats, but the instructors were clear, patient and took their time to make sure I was fully comfortable before heading out for the day. I’d fully recommend this boat, but just remember that the price doesn’t include fuel and this will be an extra cost, usually around €50. Don’t let that put you off one of the best days of the holiday!

Got to marina with no problems - using google maps as suggested by Redon. Its a bit off the beaten track otherwise. We were met by Remy who showed us the boat and ran over the equipment before taking 2 of us on a induction run. Then we picked up remaing 4 and set off. The on-board GPS was not working but Remy set up a shared app so that he knew where we were and we knew as well (need a charged phone). The boat was comfortable and clean and easily took us 6 adults. The 60hp engine was fine. The trip up to the blue caves was easy and we stopped for coffee on the way. Carried on around to the west coast for Shipwreck beach (still closed to landings and swimming) but a bit choppy so stopped in fantastic bay halfway down and had a swim. All in all a great day out and would thoroughly recommend Redon/Remy for this type of outing

Highlight of our trip!! Our captain George was great and shared so much history of the islands and tailored the whole day to what we wanted to do. Couldn’t of asked for better, would definitely recommend!

Had an amazing day with Captain Thomas’ boat. We didn’t need a skipper as my husband was able to drive the boat, Thomas’ team explained fully how everything works and had a test drive to see how comfortable we felt with the boat. Plenty of space for five people. We were out from 9:30 till around 16:30. Reasonably priced and if we needed to speak to Thomas he replied instantly! The boat was in a great condition and clean. Would recommend 100%

We booked a private boat tour with Thomas in September 2025. First things first: Thomas and the way he handled the tour were very professional and absolutely trustworthy. Of course, we were also concerned, as there are very few reviews, but that's because Thomas opened his own business this year. However, he has years of experience as a skipper and guides us wonderfully through the popular destinations. All in all, an absolute recommendation.

We had a fantastic time on Martha (Bénéteau Oceanis 331) who is showing her age gracefully. Everything worked perfectly except for the dinghy outboard but Mikhail replaced it with a brand new one and didn't charge us for it's use! Mikhail went above and beyond to ensure that our cruise was a fantastic experience. The boat was very easy to sail but still performed well. I would strongly recommend Mihail and his boat and the Ionian sea for anyone looking for a great cruise! Thanks again Mihail!
