He gave us a choice of different options but recommend one over other during to it being a bit more of windy day. We went with his recommendation and loved it.

100000% recommended! Our captain, Miriam, was incredibly attentive and friendly from beginning to end, which made the experience much more comfortable from the start. In our case, I proposed to my girlfriend, and it was wonderful. The route, the weather, the boat, the day, and the service were all perfect. I will always be grateful and will recommend them.

We had such a fantastic time today! Luna is a wonderfully friendly and outgoing girl, as well as a very capable skipper. Although there wasn’t much wind, she taught our daughters (who love to sail) some sailing tips&tricks and we otherwise spent the most relaxing time on the water, chatting, swimming and enjoying the views. We recommend Luna 110%!

Amazing. We were a group of 8 (6 adults and we kids) and booked the boat for a surprise proposal at sunset. Maximo was super and boat trip was an amazing experience we will never forget. The kids were able to nap in the bedroom and there was lots of space on board!

Five stars all around. We had 12 people on the boat and had a fantastic time. Oliver, the captain, was gracious, attentive, experienced, and took care of us. The boat is beautiful and Captain excellent shape. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great day in Marbella!

The rental process was fast and easy and Dani and the whole team were super friendly, after a quick briefing on how to operate the boat and return to the pier, we were on our way. A 15HP boat is obviously not very fast, but it's still great to get around and enjoy the sunny coast of Marbella, even without previous experience. Absolutely recommended!

We had an incredible experience today renting a yacht with Marcos and Captain Peter. Despite our booking being completely last minute, Marcos was able to accommodate us quickly and professionally. The yacht was in excellent condition and exceeded our expectations. Captain Peter was outstanding extremely pleasant, friendly, and accommodating throughout the trip, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our time on the water. Highly recommend their service and would definitely book again!

Alessandro took us out and was a fantastic skipper. Totally flexible to our preferences. Offered the Bluetooth speaker on arrival (appreciated by the teenagers!) helped my daughter with some seasickness. Called after we’d left our bag on the boat. Faultless

Boat rental in Marbella

Marbella is undoubtedly one of the best known seaside resorts on the Costa del Sol lending itself as the ideal location to rent a boat. The region offers beautiful, modern infrastructures situated perfectly between the sea and mountains. On land, be sure to visit the old part of town that is representative of old Andalusian architecture next to a beautiful bay. While you’re there, you can have a taste of the local gastronomical delights that are unique to this region. This is not your ordinary commercial city; it’s a popular tourist destination with friendly people, fantastic cuisine, vibrant local culture, old town feel, fine architecture, and wonderful year-long weather. Whether you’re on a solo trip, traveling as a couple, vacationing with your family, or on a group holiday, Marbella has plenty of things to keep you occupied every minute of your stay.

When to sail in Marbella?

Marbella is known for its warm weather and the long coastline with sandy beaches offer the perfect setting for sailing. The region has exactly what you'd expect from weather in the Mediterranean. The town enjoys warm sunshine for more than 320 days a year, yet it doesn’t feel as hot as the adjoining areas. That’s because the Sierra Blanca Mountains protects the city from becoming too hot during summer and too cold in winter. The gentle warm weather, even during the peak of summer, makes it the ideal summer holiday destination for most travellers to Europe.

Due to the typical Mediterranean weather, the best times are from April to October, but beware of the heat. If you're looking for less tourists and a more favorable weather, opt for September and October where you will be able to hire a sailboat in Marbella.

How much does is to cost to hire a boat in Marbella?

The price for renting a boat will depend on the time you would like to sail. For charters in the high season, an average price for a catamaran would be approximately 450€ with sailboats closer to 350€. When renting motorboats, the price will change greatly depending on the length, power and the activity which you would like the boat for. To see the coast for one day, you can rent motorboats starting at as little as 150€ per day.

Boat availability in Marbella

If you would like to charter a yacht in Marbella, the best advice would be to book as early as possible. Usually for charters in the high season, you will have to start your search as early as November to ensure you find the boat that fits your project the best. Because of the demand of boats in the country in general, you shouldn't wait last minute to book any type of boat. For charters, you'll find most of the fleet already booked by April and on average more than 45% by early March. A great way to explore the area is to rent a catamaran in Marbella.

Do I need a license to charter a yacht in Marbella?

In Spain, there are certain cases where you will absolutely need a license to rent a boat. If you're renting a motorboat with more than 15hp and more than 4m in length, you will need to hold a valid license. When it comes to sailboats, you will need to hold a license if the boat is over 5m in size. In either case, if you're renting a bareboat, it will be mandatory to fill in your nautical CV. This will explain your previous experience in regards to what kind of boats you captained and which waters you sailed.
