In order to respond more quickly to our customers and resolve their queries promptly, we have prepared this message with some of the frequently asked questions: Is there parking near the boat? Yes, we are located in the port right in front of the BP gas station in Roses. Just in front of the boat there is a paid parking lot for only 3 € all day. A little further ahead, also within the port (about 30 meters from the boat), there is a free parking area. Can I rent a boat if I don't have a nautical license? Yes. If you do not have a navigation license, you have two options: Rent the Astec FIBER 450 boat, which does not require a license. Or book any boat from our fleet with a skipper. Skipper rates: 80 € for 4 hours, 140 € for 8 hours. What are the rental hours? We offer several time slots according to your preferences: Half day (morning): check-in between 9:00 and 9:30 am. Half day (afternoon): check-in between 2:30 and 3:00 pm. Full day (8 hours): from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Sunset Experience: from 7:00 to 9:30 pm. What if the weather is bad on the day of the reservation? Do not worry. If the weather conditions are unfavorable, we will notify you in advance and reschedule the departure according to availability. If it is not possible to change the date (due to boat or client availability), we will request Samboat to refund the amount paid. How does the security deposit work? The amount of the security deposit depends on each boat and you can see it indicated in the listing of each boat. The deposit is paid at the beginning of the rental, just when the boat explanation is given and you check that everything is in order. It is returned the same day after verifying that the boat is returned in the same condition. How much is spent on gasoline during a day rental? In boats that require a nautical license, gasoline is not included in the price. When the boat is delivered, the tank will be full, and at the end of the rental, you must go to the BP gas station in the port of Roses to refill what has been consumed before returning the boat. The consumption depends on factors such as length, engine, speed, number of people on board, current, and wind. Here is an average estimate of daily consumption: 6-meter boat, 115 hp engine: between 40 € and 60 €. 150 hp engine: between 50 € and 70 €. 8-meter boat, 300 hp engine: between 70 € and 110 €. Keep in mind that consumption may be higher or lower depending on the route taken. Can I add any extras to my reservation? Of course! We have several extras to make your sea experience even more fun and complete: Aquatic Donut - Pure adrenaline towed by the boat. Wakeboard - Ideal for the most daring and action lovers. Paddle Surf - Perfect for relaxing when anchored: allows sunbathing on top, exploring hidden caves, or simply gaining space on board. Snorkel pack for 2 people - Includes goggles and tubes for two. All our boats are equipped with a 24-liter portable cooler with ice, so you can enjoy your drinks and food nice and cool all day long. Is there a canopy on the boat? Yes, of course! We know how important it is to protect yourself from the sun during a day at sea, that's why all our boats are equipped with a canopy so you can comfortably enjoy the shade when needed. Can we bring food and drinks on board? Of course! You can bring all the food and drinks you want on board. In addition, all our boats (except the Astec Fiber 450) have a table so you can eat comfortably during the outing. What routes do you recommend? Once the reservation is made, we will send you a PDF document with useful information about navigation rules and recommended routes. We usually recommend the route north, towards Cadaqués, as there are many spectacular coves along the way. In addition, during check-in, we will advise you on the best coves of the day according to the weather conditions. Are there life jackets for adults and children on the boat? Yes! All our boats are equipped with the mandatory safety equipment that we will show you during check-in. In addition, we have life jackets for children of all ages. Para poder responder más rápido a nuestros clientes y resolver sus dudas con agilidad, hemos preparado este mensaje con algunas de las preguntas frecuentes: ¿Hay parking cerca del barco? Sí, nos encontramos en el puerto justo en frente de la gasolinera BP de Roses. Justo delante del barco hay un parking de pago por solo 3 € todo el día. Un poco más adelante, también dentro del puerto (a unos 30 metros del barco), hay una zona de aparcamiento gratuito. ¿Puedo alquilar un barco si no tengo licencia náutica? Sí. Si no dispones de licencia de navegación, tienes dos opciones: Alquilar el barco Astec FIBER 450, que no requiere licencia. O reservar cualquier barco de nuestra flota con patrón. Tarifas del patrón: 80 € por 4 horas 140 € por 8 horas ¿Cuáles son los horarios de alquiler? Ofrecemos varias franjas horarias según tus preferencias: Medio día (mañana): check-in entre 9:00 y 9:30 h Medio día (tarde): check-in entre 14:30 y 15:00 h Día completo (8 h): de 10:00 a 18:00 h Sunset Experience: de 19:00 a 21:30 h ️ ¿Qué pasa si el día de la reserva hace mal tiempo? No te preocupes. Si las condiciones meteorológicas no son favorables, te avisaremos con antelación y reprogramaremos la salida según disponibilidad. En caso de que no sea posible cambiar de fecha (por disponibilidad del barco o del cliente), pediremos a Samboat que reembolse el importe pagado. ¿Cómo funciona la fianza? El importe de la fianza depende de cada embarcación y lo podrás ver indicado en el anuncio de cada barco. La fianza se abona al inicio del alquiler, justo cuando se os hace la explicación del barco y revisáis que todo esté en orden. Se devuelve el mismo día tras comprobar que el barco se devuelve en el mismo estado. ¿Cuánto se gasta en gasolina durante un día de alquiler? En los barcos que requieren licencia náutica, la gasolina no está incluida en el precio. Cuando se entrega la embarcación, el depósito estará lleno, y al finalizar el alquiler, deberéis pasar por la gasolinera BP del puerto de Roses para rellenar lo consumido antes de devolver el barco. El consumo depende de factores como eslora, motor, velocidad, número de personas a bordo, corriente y viento. Solo tenéis que avisarnos con antelación para preparar todo a bordo antes de vuestra salida. ¿Hay nevera en el barco? ¡Por supuesto! Todos nuestros barcos están equipados con una nevera portátil de 24 litros con hielo, para que podáis disfrutar de vuestras bebidas y comida bien fresquitas durante todo el día. ¿Hay algún toldo en el barco? ¡Sí, por supuesto! Sabemos lo importante que es protegerse del sol durante un día en el mar, por eso todos nuestros barcos están equipados con un toldo para que podáis disfrutar cómodamente a la sombra cuando lo necesitéis. ¿Podemos traer comida y bebida al barco? ¡Claro que sí! Podéis traer toda la comida y bebida que queráis a bordo. Además, todos nuestros barcos (excepto el Astec Fiber 450) cuentan con una mesa para que podáis comer cómodamente durante la salida. ️ ¿Qué rutas recomendáis hacer? Una vez realizada la reserva, os enviaremos un documento PDF con información útil sobre las normas de navegación y rutas recomendadas. Siempre solemos recomendar la ruta hacia el norte, en dirección a Cadaqués, ya que hay muchas calas espectaculares a lo largo del trayecto. Además, durante el check-in, os aconsejaremos las mejores calas del día según las condiciones meteorológicas. ¿Hay chalecos para adultos y niños en el barco? ¡Sí! Todos nuestros barcos están equipados con el material de seguridad obligatorio que os enseñaremos durante el check-in. Además, tenemos chalecos para niños de todas las edades. Una vez hecha la reserva, os enviaremos un enlace donde podréis escribirnos si vais a venir con niños y el peso de cada uno para tener los chalecos preparados en el barco.
