I was looking for a sailing experience for my family and some friend to celebrate my birthday. After searching through several other sites I came across SamBoat (thanks Gemini) and Capt Istvan listing appeared. Of course had to check the reviews first when I read this from Mateusz: "If you’re on the fence about booking this trip, stop scrolling and just do it. This was, hands down, one of the best days of our entire trip.". That was it...I was off the fence and Mateusz was spot on. Beautiful boat, super friendly captain (even with all the 5-13 year old kids), fantastic swimming spots, great food...what a great day. He even provided some sailing lessons to me and my children. If you are still reading, just stop and book. You will not be disappointed unless it because you missed your chance. Thank you again Istvan.

We booked a private charter with Mayer Charters through SamBoat for our family of eight adults and two kids, and it ended up being one of the best days of our trip!
We could create our own itinerary, but we were also happy to go with the flow and take recommendations from the crew. We had the boat from 9 AM–6 PM, and they even adjusted our pickup & dropoff location to somewhere closer to our villa, which made the day so easy.
Mayer Charters also helped us the following day when we visited a beach club in Hvar! They arranged a private speedboat transfer to pick us up directly from the beach club and take us back near our villa, rather than having to deal with the ferry
The entire experience was easy, friendly, and accommodating. Everyone we worked with was responsive, hospitable, and helpful. If you’re spending time in Croatia and want a private boat day or transfer, I highly recommend Meyer Charters.

If you’re on the fence about booking this trip, stop scrolling and just do it. This was, hands down, one of the best days of our entire trip.
From the moment we stepped aboard, it was clear this was going to be special. The crew struck that rare balance of being genuinely warm and welcoming while also being total professionals.
The sailing itself was magic. Crisp wind, turquoise water, and a route that took us past hidden coves you’d never find on your own. We anchored in a quiet bay for a swim break, and the water was so clear you could see straight to the bottom.
What really set this trip apart was the pacing. Nothing felt rushed. There was plenty of time to swim, snorkel, sunbathe, and just soak in the views. Istvan shared local stories and tips, which made it feel less like a tour and more like being shown around by a friend who happens to own a sailboat.

Good communication and nice boat. Very satisfied with our skipper Michael that planed a very nice trip for us and showed us beautiful places by our preference of the tour.

The day couldn’t have gone any better. We all had such a good time and the restaurant we stopped at for lunch was some of the best fresh fish we have ever eaten. Cannot recommend this boat enough. So so good

Our experience was amazing in every detail of it.
Starting with Ivan (owner of the boat) till his staff (Toma and Evan) who were our skippers in that trip.
They offered us a great suggestions for different places that they took us to, amazing swimming spots with crystal clear waters, coffee stop at a wonderful island and even a lunch at a different island.
All went very well, except a storm that we had face at the end of trip unfortunately (God's plan) , which our skippers took care of our own safety and made a judgment call to take us to the nearest port for drop off, then they also took care of our transportation back to our hotel which was an 45 min. Away of that port by driving us there.
Me and my wife are much appreciated of this level of service and dedication of Ivan and his team.

Everything was great. Boat owners were nice and easy to communicate with, they helped us sail out and sail in. Boat was clean, well equipped and we had no issues with it, loved it. Thank you so much!

We were a group of 12 and everyone had an amazing time on Antonio’s boat. From the very beginning, communication was clear and friendly, and on the day of the trip he welcomed us on board with a great attitude and a big smile. He took us to all the spots he had promised and gave us plenty of time at each location to swim, relax, take photos, videos and simply enjoy the surroundings.
The boat was comfortable and well maintained, and we felt safe and well looked after throughout the entire outing. Antonio was professional, calm and flexible, adapting the schedule to our group’s wishes while still keeping everything perfectly organized. The atmosphere on board was relaxed and fun, and it really made our day special.
Overall, it was a fantastic and memorable experience for all 12 of us, and we would absolutely book with Antonio again and recommend him to anyone looking for a great boat trip. 5 stars without hesitation!
