Despite a so-so weather, we had a wonderful day hopping from island to island. The boat was comfortable, the crew had brought drinks and fruits. It was extremely attentive to our needs, flexible in addressing our requests and adapting our itinerary to avoid tourists as much as possible. We HIGHLY recommend them for anyone interested in getting on the water. A big thank you for a great experience !

Koh Tao is great for snorkeling, especiaslly with your own boat and you can choose the time and bays for yourself. Ang Thong is great for the views and doing other things than in the water.

Boat rental – Thailand

Thailand offers some of the world's most impressive opportunities for boat rental experiences. With its crystal clear waters, stunning beaches, and abundant marine life, Thailand has become a premier destination for travelers seeking aquatic adventures. When you visit Thailand, the country's coastline along the Andaman Sea provides perfect conditions for boat rentals and yacht charters throughout the year, thanks to its tropical climate.

From the East Coast to the West Coast, Thailand boasts numerous islands, hidden lagoons, and vibrant coral reefs that are best explored by water.

Popular destinations for boat charter in Thailand

The Andaman Sea is home to some of the finest cruising grounds in Southeast Asia. The Phuket Province serves as a hub for boat charter activities, with facilities like Ao Po Grand Marina and Krabi boat lagoon providing excellent launching points.

Phang Nga Bay, with its emerald green waters and picturesque islands, is a must-visit destination. James Bond Island attracts many tourists. The Similan Islands and Surin Islands are renowned for their white sand beaches and vibrant coral reefs, perfect for scuba diving enthusiasts.

On the East Coast, Koh Samui offers beautiful islands and luxury resorts. Nearby Koh Phangan and Koh Tao are popular for their sandy beaches and diverse marine life. Most yacht charters in this region depart from Ocean Marina Yacht Club.

Boat rentals in specific locations in Southeast Asia

While Thailand is the crown jewel of South East Asia for boat rental, neighboring countries also offer remarkable sailing destinations. In Bangkok, boat tours along the Chao Phraya River offer views of ancient temples and the Grand Palace, while in Phuket, Patong Beach provides direct access to the Andaman Sea.

The Koh Chang, Thailand's largest island on the eastern seaboard, is another fantastic location for boat rental Thailand with its deserted beaches and secluded coves. From the untouched shores of Koh Kradan to the powdery beaches of the Similan Islands, Thailand offers some of Southeast Asia's most breathtaking coastal landscapes.

Many travelers enjoy island hopping between the beautiful islands that dot both coastlines. Yacht charter in Thailand gives you unparalleled access to these spectacular locations.

Tips for a successful boat rental experience

To make the most of your boat in Thailand adventure, plan according to the seasons when the waters are calm. The West Coast and East Coast have different optimal sailing periods due to the tropical climate.
