Fantastic personalised service from owner Yasemin ! In our 12 years experience of chartering all over the Med, this was the best service we have ever had ! During our 14 day charter , the yacht Sehabaz is starting to show its age with a couple of niggly maintenance issues which were unpredictable, but Yasemin and her team resolved these immediately on our route , so we were never forced to stop and return to Fethiye for repairs. We can recommend to ANY charter group to use this company !! We will return !!!

Daphne-S was delight to sail especially with a reasonably novice crew. She was in a great condition on handover The communication before and during the charter was excellent We had a great time sailing around the bay. The only downside of the trip was Gocek marina which was very expensive

Boat rental in Turkey

Turkey offers a perfect blend of stunning coastline, crystal clear waters, and rich history, making it an ideal destination for a memorable boat rental experience. Along the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts, sailors will find endless opportunities to explore hidden coves and picturesque bays.

Choosing the right boat for your Turkish sailing adventure

When planning to rent a boat in Turkey, you'll find various options to suit different preferences and group sizes:

  • for larger groups or those seeking luxury, a motor yacht provides spacious accommodations with well-equipped amenities;
  • sailing boats offer a more authentic experience with favorable winds, especially along the Aegean coast.

Boat rentals in Turkey range from affordable day charters to luxury yachts for extended cruises.

Peak boat charter season in Turkey runs from June to September, offering ideal weather and calm seas. However, consider booking during spring or fall for fewer crowds and milder temperatures, while still enjoying an enjoyable sailing experience.

Boat rental prices and details

Boat rental costs in Turkey vary depending on the type of yacht, season, and duration. During high season, prices tend to increase significantly, particularly for luxury yacht options. Basic boats for a daily charter start at reasonable rates, while a week-long charter in Turkey on a motor yacht will cost more.

Many rentals include safety gear and basic amenities, but additional services like a boat with a captain and crew can add to the overall cost, but having professionals help you sail through Turkey's waters ensures both safety and convenience.

Licensing and qualifications for boat charter

To rent a boat in Turkey without a captain, you'll need appropriate sailing qualifications recognized by Turkish authorities. For those without proper licensing, a crewed charter is the perfect solution, allowing you to enjoy your sailing trip while professionals handle navigation.

Crewed yacht charter options provide not only sailing expertise but often include Turkish cuisine experiences prepared by onboard chefs, enhancing your journey with local flavors similar to street food you might find in coastal towns. Many dishes show central Asian influences that have shaped Turkish food traditions.

Popular destinations on the Turkish coastline

The Turkish Riviera, also known as the Turquoise Coast, features some of the most beautiful beaches and clear waters in the region. Gocek Marina serves as an excellent starting point for exploring the surrounding areas, including Tersane Island with its ancient ruins.

The Aegean coast opens access to charming islands and ancient ruins, and in some cases, routes pass near the Greek islands, adding international flair to your journey. Setur Antalya Marina is another popular launch point, offering convenient access to ancient ruins and iconic coastal landmarks.

Planning your boat trip in Turkey

The best time for yacht rental in Turkey is during the peak season between May and October, when the weather provides perfect sailing conditions. However, the shoulder seasons offer a unique blend of good weather and fewer crowds, especially important for those wanting to visit popular spots like Ece Marina or explore the hidden coves.

For those visiting Istanbul, take time to explore attractions like the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace before or after your sailing adventure.

Navigation along Turkey's shores requires attention to local conditions, especially where the Black Sea influences weather patterns. The sailing route you choose should account for your experience level and interests, whether that's exploring ancient world remnants or finding secluded swimming spots with Muğla Province or İzmir's crystal clear waters.

Discovering Turkey's best ports

Turkey boasts numerous well-developed marinas offering services from laundry services to technical support. Gocek Marina is known for its full-service amenities, while smaller marinas offer a more intimate glimpse into local life and culture.

Anchoring in Turkey's beautiful bays allows you to experience the true natural beauty of the coastline away from developed areas, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
