The Hanse 400 was launched in 2006 together with other models of the same series. It was successful and several versions were introduced, including one with double steering and a folding transom. In her latest version, the boat features a closed stern with a central opening and a traditional sail plan configuration, with a genoa 140% larger than the mainsail.
