Sail with the Legend on a voyage where history meets the Adriatic soul. Besa is not just a sailing boat—she is a storyteller,
The first Croatian boat that sailed around the world. Croatian writer and sailor Joža Horvat together with 3 other crew members accomplished that voyage from 1965 to 1967. Boat s log was published in several languages and became one of the best Croatian travel logs, while sailboat Besa became the most famous boat of Croatian literature. She offers travelers a chance to step aboard a piece of living history, moving beyond simple sailing to explore the relationship between the people of Dalmatia and the sea. Unlike many historic vessels relegated to museums, Besa continues to sail, preserving the intangible heritage of traditional sailing techniques and maritime storytelling.
