Il giro all’interno della Grotta Azzurra dura pochi minuti, ma bisogna entrarci con i barchini a remi che forniscono il servizio apposito. Quindi, i tempi di attesa possono essere lunghi e trascorrerli comodamente a bordo della propria barca con un calice di vino e ascoltando musica è decisamente più gradevole che farlo accalcati in lunghe file di turisti, soffrendo il caldo. La giornata potrà proseguire con un bagno al largo degli iconici Faraglioni, per poi terminare godendosi il tramonto nel punto dell’isola in cui il sole va via per ultimo: al Faro. Vista dal mare, sembra davvero un’oasi ricca di profumi e scorci mozzafiato. Ma il valore aggiunto delle acque ischitane è il loro potere salutare. Numerose fonti termali infatti, arricchiscono il patrimonio naturale del territorio. I benefici della talassoterapia di cui il nostro corpo, inconsapevolmente, si giova ogni qual volta si immerge in mare, potranno aggiungersi a quelli derivanti dai bagni termali. Molti sono i complessi balneari che offrono servizi day-spa presso i propri centri benessere. Arrivarci dal mare è comodo e consente di completare la giornata con un ultimo brindisi alla vista del Castello Aragonese. La Baia Sommersa tra mito e storia. Da Mergellina in meno di un’ora si può fare un viaggio indietro nei secoli, fino ai tempi dell’Antica Grecia. Lo specchio d’acqua antistante la zona dei Campi Flegrei era meta di vacanza degli antichi romani, non a caso. La baia che si estende tra Bacoli e Miseno nasconde un ricchissimo patrimonio archeologico immerso in fondo al proprio mare. Resti di palazzi nobiliari, statue, relitti di navi, tutto risalente a secoli ante-Cristo. Queste meraviglie, in parte visibili anche affacciandosi dal bordo della propria imbarcazione, sono visitabili con battelli dal fondo trasparente reperibili in loco e, per i più appassionati, con immersioni subacquee. Il soggiorno può essere completato con passeggiate a terra, particolarmente indicate come percorsi istruttivi per ragazzi. Tra questi, l’Antro della Sibilla è uno dei più suggestivi.
