A Day at Sea, Just for You Welcome aboard Grace for a private and exclusive experience discovering the beautiful Palermo coastline. This is more than simply renting a sailing boat: I will personally be your skipper and take you to the places I know and love, adapting the day to your wishes and to the sea and weather conditions. Whenever the wind allows, we will sail, combining navigation with swimming, snorkeling, SUP and plenty of time to relax. The Itinerary Departing from San Nicola l'Arena, we will explore one of the most beautiful stretches of the Sicilian coastline, discovering Capo Zafferano, the Formiche Nature Reserve and the crystal-clear waters of Capo Mongerbino. The itinerary is flexible: together we will choose the best stops according to the wind, sea conditions and what you would most enjoy doing during the day. September and October are among the best months for sailing in Sicily: the sea is still warm, the bays are quieter and the coastline returns to its authentic atmosphere after the peak summer season. Departure and Return We depart from and return to the port of San Nicola l'Arena, a hidden gem on the Palermo coastline, away from the bustle of the city and overlooked by the historic Norman Tower. For guests staying in Palermo, a private transfer to/from the city can also be arranged. Included on Board During the cruise, I will offer you a snack accompanied, according to your preference, by Prosecco, white or red wine, soft drinks and water. Snorkeling equipment and a SUP are also available on board. Trolling Fishing – On Request For guests looking for something different, we can also try trolling fishing using the equipment available on board, depending on the itinerary, sea conditions and season. It is a simple and enjoyable experience even for complete beginners and can easily be combined with a normal day of sailing. Lunch on Board On request, I can personally prepare a complete lunch on board, featuring fresh fish and local Sicilian ingredients, accompanied by wine and other drinks. A different way to experience Sicilian cuisine: on a sailing boat, surrounded by the sea. Overnight Experiences & Multi-Day Cruises Grace is also available for private 2 or 3-day experiences with overnight stays on board, tailored to your preferences. Some possible itineraries include: Cefalù Coastal Escape – 3 Days / 2 Nights Sailing along Sicily's beautiful northern coastline, discovering hidden bays and spending the nights between scenic anchorages and Cefalù. Western Aeolian Adventure – 3 Days / 2 Nights A more adventurous sailing experience towards Alicudi and Filicudi, weather conditions permitting. Palermo & Mondello Lifestyle Cruise – 3 Days / 2 Nights A relaxed cruise exploring the Gulf of Palermo, Monte Pellegrino, Mondello and the western coastline. Multi-day experiences are quoted separately according to the itinerary, sailing distance, marina or mooring costs and any specific requests. Your Skipper I'm Fabrizio Ferrera, owner of Grace and a licensed sailing and motorboat skipper with no distance-from-shore limitations, with training in Safety, Emergency and Survival at Sea. I speak fluent Italian, English, French and Spanish, so you can feel at home wherever you come from. My goal is simple: to welcome you aboard not just as customers, but as my guests, and to let you discover Sicily from my favourite point of view: the sea.
