Sailing between Tarragona and Menorca in September is undoubtedly a fascinating experience, but it is essential to keep a close eye on the weather forecast to avoid unpleasant surprises. Bad weather can be unpredictable at this time of year, and safety must always be the priority. As for the boat, it is good to know that it performed excellently even in 34 kt winds. However, it is true that with such high wind intensity, the 49 hp engine is somewhat limited. In these conditions, sailing skills become crucial in order not to overly lengthen the crossing. Despite the intensity and duration of the crossing, which can last around 28 hours, the trip is a unique and memorable experience that deserves to be experienced at least once. The combination of a robust boat and good sailing technique can turn a challenging crossing into an unforgettable adventure. Definitely a trip that leaves a mark!

We were in the area and it's a great option for renting for a day. If you want more days, it's better to head south and spend the night in another port.

We had a wonderful few hours on Carles' boat, a beautiful and very well-maintained Bavaria 40. Carles was delightful: very kind, approachable, calm, and always attentive to our comfort and enjoyment of the trip. He let us experience it at our own pace and adapted to everything with great ease. We would definitely do it again. Thank you so much, Carles!

The experience with Sergio on September 15, 2024 during the sailing trip was truly excellent. The hosts provided exceptional service, making the trip from Tarragona to Menorca, skirting the coast for a week, very pleasant despite the bad weather that prevailed. The boat behaved in an exemplary manner in difficult conditions, and Sergio was available 24 hours a day to attend to any incident or doubt related to the boat. The condition of the boat is optimal, and it is important to highlight the comfort of the beds; I still have to find out the brand of the pillow, as it was really comfortable. In short, we are very happy with the experience and highly recommend renting the Escarpin. We will definitely repeat!

Very good experience. Boat was in very good conditions and Manuel was very nice and completely flexible for the check in/out and spending all needed time to explain everything about the boat, what to do around, forecast,… Sure an experience to repeat .

Perfect. boat in great condition, well equipped (would be great if there was a VHF device available even it's not mandatory). Angel (he received us at the port and showed us the boat) was very kind and the weather and day were great. Thierry, the owner, was great too. hope to repeat it soon!!
