What are the meaning of the requests status?

There are various different status depending on the stage of the reservation request. See below the following : 

  • Pending : You have an unopened request, you have to reply.
  • Discussion : You have not accepted nor refused the request, but you have sent a message.
  • Pre-approved : The request has been accepted, and the renter can proceed with payment. The reservation is not confirmed until the renter pays for it. You can cancel the request at any time as long as the renter has not paid the reservation.
  • Paid : The request has been paid for and confirmed. You will have access to the information of the client.

  • Pre-paid : When the renter has paid for the request before you accept. You have 24 hours to accept or decline the request (The date is blocked in the calendar while waiting for your answer). After 24 hours, the request is automatically cancelled.

  • Finished : The rental is completed, and you can leave a review for the renter. Payment is sent 24 hours after the first day of the rental (working days) by default.

  • Refused : The request has not been refused by you.
  • Cancellation Request : When the renter/owner wants to cancel a paid reservation. This means that SamBoat verifies the reason for cancellation and the cancellation conditions in order to make a decision. At this point, you will receive an email asking if you want to be more flexible or if you want to apply your set conditions.

  • Cancelled : When the renter has not paid on time or the renter does not wish to continue with the reservation request, or the owner has not responded to the request on time. If you wish to accept the request after the deadline has passed, send a message to the renter asking them to send a request again, so you can accept it.
