Great sailing area with numerous route options. Highly recommended: the short climb to the summit on the island of Zut. A fantastic panoramic view of the Kornati and the neighboring islands.

Some of the marinas are expensive for overnighting on them every night. Had hoped to go on a swing buoy in a mooring field for a couple of nights, however the weather conspired against us. All marinas have good facilities. Biograd na Maru is a nice town with a big marina.

Very beautiful sailing area with lots of small islands and a few nice places. However, it was confirmed again that it is not for beginners. In a rapidly approaching thunderstorm at anchor, the wind direction changed again by 180° with up to 7 Bft (5 in gusts announced). We saw many lost anchors, torn sails and tears again (5th to 6th September '24). Anyone who cannot handle such situations should look for another sailing area and always ask the locals about the weather.

Well worth the money! Time went really fast, the boat was just perfect and easy to manouvre for a beginner. We even got lucky and saw dolphins on our ride! The snorkling gear needs an update though. otherwise 10/10!

We had an amazing experience renting a boat from Marko with Igor as our skipper. We booked for two days, and everything was perfectly organized – they recommended great spots and planned the tour really well, so the timing worked out great. The boat itself was fantastic: fast, spacious, and more than comfortable for our group of 12. They even had snorkeling gear for everyone and a GoPro on board to capture underwater photos and videos, which was really a great touch! Drinks were provided, and they showed us some really stunning places we would have never found on our own. Both Marko and Igor were super friendly, funny, and made the whole trip enjoyable from start to finish. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience – I can only highly recommend them!

Unforgettable experience. Thank you to the entire Samboat team who were very responsive following the cancellation of the reservation upon arrival (because it was too windy). We wished we had been notified earlier by the owner of this first rental. It wasn't Jan! We called them immediately. They helped us find a new boat for the next day. All this by phone + website + email. The price difference was credited to our bank account a few days later. Bravo. Jan's boat was perfect for four. No license required. We were able to sail to the surrounding islands and stop at one for a picnic. Fuel price: 15 euros for the day, paid upon arrival. We will book with Samboat again. Highly recommended!

All good. We had a wonderful day. Clean boats, frendly personnel. Just a small thing about the paid parking far away, but all in all it was good experience :)

Boat was super clean and modern. Captain and 2 crew members went out of their way to accommodate us. Spent a full day out on the water island hopping (central Dalmatia). Swimming snorkeling etc. definitely spend the extra $200 and get the sea-doo. Kids loved that. Highlight of my amazing 3 week stay in Croatia.
