Great sailing area with numerous route options. Highly recommended: the short climb to the summit on the island of Zut. A fantastic panoramic view of the Kornati and the neighboring islands.

Great if you have inexperienced people on board. I would say that if you don't have hard-core sailors, passage plan about 20 miles a day.

Beautiful sailing area. However, the sailing conditions were not ideal during our week (rain and thunderstorms) Beautiful marinas and beautiful bays for anchoring or mooring at the buoy. Restaurant prices are not cheap, rather too expensive!

My positive feedback starts a week before the charter when contacted to let me know that we were expected and answered a couple of questions we had in advance of our arrival. On arrival the boat was in good condition as advertised. Everything worked. Handover was friendly and thorough. We had a great time exploring the islands off Split. On return the hand back was equally friendly, fair and thorough. The office staff were helpful and friendly holding some crew bags for a few hours.

We had an amazing catamaran cruise and can wholeheartedly recommend both the skipper and the Catamaran “Mala” for short or longer trips. The boat was clean, very well maintained, and extremely comfortable. Everything was perfectly organized and always on time, while communication was smooth, friendly, and professional from start to finish. What made the experience truly special was the skipper himself — kind, approachable, attentive, and highly professional. From the beginning, he made everyone feel safe and comfortable on board by giving clear instructions and taking great care of the entire crew. He also created a fantastic atmosphere, choosing perfect moments for group photos, sunset stops in beautiful bays, and port visits. The cruise was safe, relaxing, memorable, and incredibly enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for great organization, a welcoming atmosphere, and unforgettable sailing memories Once again, thank you!

The Lagoon 40 catamaran, Mojito, from Trogir in Croatia was excellent. The boat was very clean and well equipped and the staff at Navigare Yachting were outstanding.

Had a really great trip with Domagoj as skipper. The boat was clean and as described, and the company was very accommodating in customizing our trip for a shorter itinerary in the midst of high season, with us showing up on an off day. Domagoj brought us to beautiful, quiet, out of the way places, which was exactly what we hoped for as a family with children. Unrelated to the charter, the only sour note was, we were scammed by the taxi on the way out. He took my wife for a huge detour, charging 48 euros for what should have been a 1 km trip. Then, he actually charged the credit card for 133 Euros. So, avoid Domi i Jela Taxi at Split ACI Marina

Very good base, easy checkin and knowledgeable service and support. Last minute boat change did not affect our trip.

Rent a catamaran in Croatia: explore stunning coastlines

When you rent catamaran in Croatia, you open the door to one of European countries' most spectacular sailing destinations. The Croatian coastline stretches along the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea, offering breathtaking views at every turn. With its perfect combination of stunning beaches, secluded coves, and rich cultural heritage, sailing in Croatia has become a top choice for both seasoned sailors and beginners.

With their twin hulls, catamarans offer superior stability, perfect for cruising the serene waters around Croatia's many islands. Explore at your own pace and enjoy a smooth, comfortable ride, reaching secluded spots that are often inaccessible from shore.

Catamaran options: the perfect model for your needs

Croatia offers an impressive selection of charter catamarans, from compact models perfect for couples to spacious luxury yachts that accommodate larger groups. The largest fleet of catamarans includes:

  • boats ranging from 38 to 52 feet, each providing a unique balance of comfort, performance, and style for your catamaran holidays;
  • modern catamarans feature generous living spaces both inside and on deck, allowing you to enjoy the natural beauty surrounding you.

With multiple cabins, well-equipped kitchens, and ample room for relaxation, these boats provide an exceptional base for your sailing adventure through this nautical world for a few days or weeks.

Costs and details for catamaran rentals in Croatia

Rental prices for catamarans in Croatia depend on the boat's size, age, and the time of year. Prices typically range widely, with peak rates during July and August. Booking your catamaran charter Croatia well in advance is highly recommended, especially if you plan to sail during high season.

Most catamaran rentals agreements include the boat, basic equipment, and insurance. Additional services like professional sailors for a charter with a captain, provisioning, or special equipment may incur extra costs, but can significantly enhance your yacht charter experience when you rent a catamaran.

Croatia: Licensing and qualifications for catamaran charter

To operate a bareboat charter in Croatia, you'll need a valid sailing license recognized by Croatian authorities. Several international certifications are accepted, but it's important to verify requirements with your charter company before booking. If you lack proper certification or prefer to relax during your Croatian vacation, a crewed charter with a professional captain offers an excellent alternative, providing local knowledge and expertise.

Popular sailing destinations along the Dalmatian Coast

The Dalmatian Coast offers countless gems to discover during your charter a catamaran adventure. Highlights include Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its ancient architecture and rich history. The Kornati Islands National Park features a stunning coastline and secluded bays perfect for peaceful anchorages.

Plan an itinerary that balances popular spots with quieter locations for island hopping, and leave room for flexibility as weather conditions can change.

As you set sail along the Croatian coastline, you'll understand why this nautical world has captured the hearts of sailors worldwide. Whether you're seeking cultural experiences in historic city environments or peaceful communion with nature in beautiful beaches, a catamaran in Croatia delivers the freedom to create your perfect sailing adventures while discovering the remarkable charm of the Adriatic Sea and enjoying the great adventure of exploring Croatia offers.
