How to complete my profile? (required legal information)

A complete and validated user profile is required in order to publish your listing and receive your payments.
To complete your profile, go to the “My account” tab and fill in all of your personal information:

  • First name(s) and last name
  • Date of birth
  • Nationality
  • Address and country of residence

Take this opportunity to verify your email address and enter your phone number, then save your information.

You will then be asked to click on the banner displayed at the top of your screen, as shown in the screenshot below,
or to go to the “Certifications” tab.

You will then be able to click on “Validate or edit my legal information”, which will take you to the interface of our payment service provider.

To complete and validate your profile, follow the steps one by one:

1. You are a private owner

  • Select “Private”
  • Verify your personal information (if needed, add a front and back photo of your ID)
  • Fill in your bank account information
  • Select and electronically sign the document

2. You are a professional owner

  • First, select “I am a professional owner” in your SamBoat account, and complete your company information, including registered address, company type, and VAT number.

Then, in our partner’s interface:

  • Select “Professional”
  • Verify your company information
  • If required, our partner will ask you to upload your ID and other documents proving your company status
  • Fill in your company’s bank account information
  • Select and electronically sign the document

Once your account is validated with our payment service provider, your listings can be published on our platform, and bank transfers will be automatic from your SamBoat account to your bank account.
