I wish to cancel and I have subscribed to the cancellation insurance, how do I do it?

If you wish to cancel your booking, you must make a "cancellation request" directly on the booking page. To find out how to cancel a booking, click here.

If you have taken out cancellation insurance, you must declare it to the insurer in order to be covered. You can find the link here

To do this, you will need to provide the insurance number that you will find on the certificate sent by Gritchen following the confirmation of your booking. 

Once this has been done, you will need to follow the various steps to declare your cancellation: 

  • The first step is to provide your personal details, including your surname, first name, email, telephone number, address, postcode, town and country.

  • In the second step, Gritchen will ask you for information about your claim, including the date of the claim, the subject and the reason. If the reason is not listed, you can send an email with your declaration. If you wish to cancel your holiday, select "Cancellation" as the reason.

  • The third step enables the insurance company to obtain the details of your booking.

  • The fourth and final step allows you to add your supporting documents to the file.

 

Once you have completed these steps, you will receive an email from the insurance company with your claim file number. A manager from the claims department may contact you by email within 48 to 72 hours to request any additional documents if necessary.
