Stromboli, Panarea and Salina are important destinations. A start from Palermo with a city tour before and after the sailing trip is recommended. The relaxed and inexpensive journey by (new) train to Capo d'Orlando is also recommended. By taxi or shuttle you would pay up to €400 per trip. By train it is only €14 per person. There are even taxis that cooperate with the port and take sailors to and from the port for €5 per person.

This is the fourth time we have sailed in the Aeolian Islands and it is always a great pleasure even if we would like to have a little more wind.

3 friends and I had an amazing day with Fabrizio on his sailboat. Communication and organization was quick and easy, historical information provided was informative, and we were blessed with wind allowing us to sail! He generously provided us with arranged transportation back to our accommodation as well as a dinner recommendation and reservation that was the best we have had in Sicily. This was our favorite day in Palermo!

Fabrizio is a great captain and a great host! We sailed around the bay, caught some wind, and saw the sites along the way. Afterward, he brought me to a locals’ food spot, and we sampled most of everything. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our experience ! It was a beautiful day on the sailboat, with pasta, snorkelling (and gear was provided) and beautiful beaches and coves. Gaspare was super friendly and a great host, you can tell he’s passionate about sailing. He spoke Italian and French, but we managed with google translate just fine. The sailboat is on an older side, but we loved our experience nonetheless.

Fabrizio was a phenomenal custodian of Italian history and culture. He and Sarah were the perfect hosts. We learned and laughed from start to finish. If you are looking for an intimate and personal experience, I highly recommend them. My wife and I had a perfect day and could not ask for anything more.
